Mit diesem Mundstück suchte ich eine Alternative zum Solist M von Kückmeier, wollte also zurück auf die deutsche Bahn. Mit den dazu passenden Blättern der Stärke 3 klingt es recht überzeugend. Da auf vielen MS im Moment beide Blattsorten (deutsch/französisch) einsetzbar sind, habe ich auch V12- Blätter probiert, jedoch mit deutlich schlechterem Erfolg.
Mit dem deutschen Blattschnitt erzielt man aber eine ausgeglichene Intonation über alle Register. Der Ton klingt sehr rund und weich, hat mir aber zu wenig Kern. Auffällig ist die obere Kante, die eher abgerundet ist, was auf die geübte Staccato-Zunge eher hinderlich, zumindest fremd wirkt. Bindungen sind auch bei problematischen Tonsprüngen sehr gut realisierbar. Dynamische kann das MS feinste Nuancen erzeugen. Fazit: eine gute Weiterentwicklung für Spieler der deutschen Bahn, die Abtrünnigen werden weiter suchen.
