For my needs, I find this mallet too lightweight. I am not using Peter Hess bowls but other therapy bowls and that might affect the sound quality that I get... I don't find the impact to volume ratio is strong enough for my taste. But the mallet is very well made and I do keep it in my stock, as I am sure one day the perfect use will arise.

This mallet is just fantastic. It is really easy to use with my sound therapy bowls and really hits out a nice sound and vibration too. I would highly recommend it.

Good sound from singing bowls

This mallet works well on larger singing bowls. Mostly for striking.

High quality mallet with two soft heads that give different sounds when playing a bowl. Very handy 2 in 1 function. I use this one in sound bowl massage as the sound is softer than in the harder mallet Peter Hess phFS-2h/3h.
