Amazing for it's price
Was looking for a rock ride for an reasonable price. Between all of the "low-end" rides colection on this website, it came down to the PST5 and the Zultan. Altough I never played a Zultan Ride (I have a Zultan Crash), I believe I made the right choice, the cymbal has a really nice sustain overall, very warm and thick enough to be played by a "Heavy hitter". The chrash zone is exacly what I expected in a Rock Cymbal, doesn't lose it's ride "ping" sound, but it comes close to a very heavy crash. The ride zone is very good, the stick sound is really articulate and I can still hear the cymbal ring. The bell is the only thing I have a little complaint, because it can be too "pingy", not exacly what I was looking for, but still, amazing for it's price, for me, the best ride in it's price category.
