The hi hat cut through the general din of the band, sounding bright and crisp. It doesn't loose it's edge when played loud or soft. Very responsive, and sweat sounding. Paist have always been a name to rely on and this continues through this product.

I use this hihat top since 2007 and it delivers on every live gig or recording I've ever done since.
I like the sound, it cuts through and has a nice chick.
I highly recomend this hihat.

J'ai une paire de Paiste 2002 sound edge depuis les 80’s. La cymbale top commençait à se fissurer de par et d’autre. À la fin elle avait 6 trous de chignole pour stopper les fissures fallais en changer.
Une paire de cymbale charlestons comme cela: c'est cher. J'étais partie pour un modèle plus bas de gamme. Je ne suis qu'un amateur, mais je suis aussi depuis longtemps attaché à Paiste et surtout le série 2002. Alors lorsque j'ai vu que Thommann vendait la TOP cymbal au détail pas j'ai pas hésiter.
Le son des sound edge est génial surtout sur scène et avec les autres
instrument. Ce n'est que qu bonheur.

Ich spiele die Soundedge Hihat seit 35 Jahren in den unterschiedlichsten Musikrichtungen. Ich bin nach wie vor begeistert vom Ansprechverhalten, sowie der Lautstärkendynamik und Variabilität. Aufgrund Materialermüdung ergaben sich in letzter Zeit Risse am TOP-Becken, entstanden durch den gewellten Rand des Bottom-Beckens (zu hoher Druck aufs Peal). Deshalb mein Neukauf. Das neue Becken klingt wie das Neuteil vor 35 Jahren. Zeugt von hoher Qualität.
