The perfect choice for home studios

The On-Stage WS7500RB is designed for home recording studios and combines a practical layout with an ergonomic design that enables a comfortable workflow. Its raised monitor platform, spacious tabletop, and pull-out keyboard shelf provide room for a computer, master keyboard, studio monitors, and MIDI controller. The Z-shaped steel frame forms a sturdy base with a load capacity of around 75kg, while also giving the Producer Desk a clean, professional appearance. Veneered surfaces complete the desk's overall design.

Modular, ergonomic design

The ergonomic design of the On-Stage WS7500RB provides a comfortable working position, which is particularly useful during longer recording, editing, or mixing sessions and can help reduce physical strain. The arrangement of the spacious worktop and raised monitor platform makes good use of the available area while keeping the main equipment within easy reach. As a studio setup grows and additional workspace becomes necessary, the WS7500RB can be expanded with modular accessories. The WSC7500B Workstation Corner, for example, adds a corner table to the Producer Desk, providing additional surface area for further equipment without requiring a completely new workstation.

Affordable compact workstation

The On-Stage WS7500RB Producer Desk is primarily aimed at ambitious home studio owners looking for a compact and practical workspace that can accommodate the essential equipment. Compared with makeshift or impractical solutions, its ergonomic design provides a more comfortable and clearly structured working environment, while making efficient use of limited space. The layout also allows the various components of a studio setup to be arranged within easy reach without unnecessarily taking up additional room. Another advantage is its modular design, which makes it possible to expand the available work surface at a later stage. This gives users the flexibility to adapt the workstation as their studio setup grows over time.

About On-Stage

On-Stage, also known as On-Stage Stands, is a brand of the US-based company The Music People Inc., established in 1979 in Berlin, Connecticut. Guided by the principle of offering affordable, durable, and innovative products, the brand has achieved significant international growth. Today, the On-Stage portfolio boasts over 300 products across eight categories, including guitar, microphone, keyboard, workstation, rack/amplifier/mixer, speaker, lighting, and band & orchestra accessories. Both beginners and professionals rely on On-Stage Stands for their high-quality offerings at accessible price points.

For a tidy setup

Despite its compact dimensions, the On-Stage WS7500RB Producer Desk provides enough work surface to bring together the essential equipment needed for music production and audio editing in one place. The raised monitor platform can accommodate two small near-field monitors along with a computer screen, while the spacious main desktop offers room for a master keyboard and several MIDI controllers. There is also space for a computer keyboard and mouse, with the pull-out keyboard tray allowing both input devices to be moved underneath the desk when they are not needed. This keeps the main work surface clear and leaves more room for the equipment being used during a session.

Superb desk
MGF 09.02.2020
I considered a few studio desks and finally decided on this one for a small, spare room home studio. I read many reviews and watched a few of the YouTube videos about it before deciding.
First, let me say some of the negative comments about assembly are not without warrant. It is a bit fiddly to assemble, but I did it by myself in about 1 1/2 hours, but I took my time and was patient, having read the assembly instructions prior to receiving it. If you have put together flat pack furniture before, then this is not much different. But the instructions could be a little more precise about assembly, but I’ve seen worse.
Once assembled, I am very, very pleased with it. It has more than enough space for my needs, and I like having a keyboard/mouse drawer which frees up desktop space. My speaker monitors (Kali LP6s) are on separate stands, but if you feel the need to put smaller speakers on the top tier there should be adequate room along with a smaller computer monitor (22” or less).
It’s very sturdy and looks really nice in the rosewood. For this price I didn’t expect a real wood top, but it looks very nice indeed.
There is another one out there that looks nearly the same in the UK - made in the same factory perhaps, but I went with the On Stage one as I knew the brand from the USA where I’m from originally. Plus, you can add the 2u rack accessory to this desk, which I have done and put a rack shelf in it to hold my audio interface, hard drive and burner. The supporting arm for the top shelf can get in the way if you attempt to mount anything very deep in the top rack position. This wasn’t an issue for me with a rack shelf and just enough room to fit a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 in it snuggly.
I have no regrets purchasing this desk, and can highly recommend it. Just be sure to take your time assembling it, read through the instructions first, and having someone to help would not be a bad idea - but you could go it alone like I did with success.

Good but hard to build
coldjin 13.10.2020
It is a very good home recording desk, it's just hard to build. I suspect there's something wonky in the order the instructions are given, but either way some screws are very hard to reach when put in position, which leads to rechecking the tightness of the build a thousand times out of fear it'll collapse on you. Once built, it's very solid and with very wide work surfaces, so all good. I'd definitely recommend it for small home studios.

E
Desk is good, but problems with delivery
Eddie1984 12.03.2021
I have to give just 3 stars because the product arrived with damage and the bag of fixings missing. Thomanns did manage to send out the missing parts, but delivery on them was several weeks. The damage to the desk is just scratches and scuffs. It seems to me that I was sent a B-Stock model, which is very disappointing. However, the product itself is good. The desk is sturdy and has plenty of space. The materials used are good quality and the wood veneer finish is very nice.
