The best sounding (and looking!) snare in my collection

I have 11 snare drums including some high-end one like Black Beauty and Canopus Zelkova, but this is one is my favourite. Sonically speaking there's no better bang for the buck, at least in Europe. A true classic. The only thing I'm probably not too fond of is the N&C snare wire, but it's easy to replace if it is not your kind of thing.

je connais Noble & cooley depuis les années 90 , c'est le top du top , j'ai pris ce modèle car c'est une valeur sûre de part l'essence de bois l'érable et la profondeur généreuse , bref que du bonheur !

Legend with a soul

The combination of natural maple, brass and chrome is beautiful. Mechanical simplicity is ingenious. Because it's handmade with everything, it's a precision product. I think the overall quality compared to other snare drums is not that expensive. NC is a legend with a soul.

Ich besitze einige hochklassige Snares: Sonor AS 12, Yamaha Recording Custom, Gretsch USA Custom etc... Alles hervorragende Instrumente. Aber diese Snare ist definitiv mein persönlicher Favorit: Sehr gute Resonanz und Teppichansprache, feine (nicht zu starke) Obertöne, viel "Bauch" und Punch, außerordentlicher Stimmumfang, sehr gute Verarbeitung. Der Preis ist hoch, aber das ist sie auch wert.
