I was never a fan of any clips/brackets on my fiddle. However, I used my Neumann MCM 114 Set High Strings mic for the first time recently & I was very impressed. The MC1 clip was unobtrusive & didn't get in my way. I had options on how to mount it too as I don't use a shoulder rest with my fiddle. I was extremely happy with how it attaches to the instrument. It really is top quality. You get what you pay for.

Another bonus for me was that I can use the same bracket on my Greek 6-string bouzouki. What a result! Happy days.

Highly recommend this clip.
