Weapon of bass destruction
As I am playing 5 & 6 string basses "the time has come" to get an six stringer from MM. Up to now I am using 2 six string Yamahas and 2 MM Stingrays 5 (one fretless), the last ones I love for their sound and general feeling. For me the only acceptable color was Stealth Black, bass looks much more impressive live than on the pictures. The sound combination of powerful HH pickups and 4 band EQ gives a lot of possibilities, but flat EQ and both pickups gives perfect, meaty and dynamic sound is enough to easily set it up in every mix. The neck has a different shape than the other six stringers I payed, weird at the beginning, but finally I found it as most comfortable six stringer ever - I had no bigger hand fatigue after 12 hrs of playing than playing Stingray 5. As for MM the details quality is perfect, dedicated MM case is securing the instrument perfectly, the only tiny minus is lack of dedicated allen keys to set up instrument. The initial instrument setup was too hard for me, but it is individual thing and corrected it quickly. I'm very happy.
