El walkie Alan 42 DS, tiene buena calidad de construcción, el audio en recepción es muy bueno y en transmisión bueno. Es muy importante sustituir la antena pequeña que trae por una mas grande de mayor ganancia. Me ha decepcionado bastante la potencia de transmisión. Según el manual es de 4w en alta potencia y de 1w en baja potencia y no es así. Con fuente de alimentación a 13,8V ofrece casi 3w en alta potencia y con el portapilas de 8 pilas recargable se queda en 1,5w en alta potencia!!. ¿Quien necesita un walkie para tenerlo conectado a una fuente de alimentación?. A 12v ofrece 2w que son insuficientes. En resumen es un walkie con buena calidad de construcción, pero que solo se puede utilizar en condiciones de buena propagación y desde una buena ubicación (zona alta). De lo contrario no podrás realizar ningún contacto. Si el fabricante Alan le hubiera dado los 4w que recogen las instrucciones sería un gran walkie pero ofrece un pobre rendimiento por la poca potencia de salida. En internet hay muchos testimonios sobre la poca potencia.
