I bought the full set of AA meinl dark customs last year and I have to say I love them . They are perfect for all types of music. I love the 17"" crash . It's lovely and warm . It has a number of sounds depending how and where its it but great cymbal . I love these cymbals and I play pop rock middle of the road and weddings and never had one complaint about these cymbals.

I’m using this crash together with a same size Paiste color sound crash and they work perfectly together. The sound of this crash is great and it feels great when playing on it.

habe dieses Becken für meinen Sohn bestellt, er steht sehr auf Led Zeppelin, und das musste ich natürlich unterstützen.
Das Becken klingt sehr geil!!
Für die etwas härtere Gangart sehr geeignet mit wunderbarem "Nachklingen", habe aber selber auch schon ein paar "jazzige" Rythmen darauf gespielt, und kann sagen, dass es auch auf feinere Anschläge sehr gut reagiert. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

War bisher eher der Sabian Becken Typ bis ich die Dark Serie von Meinl endeckt habe. Dieses 17" Crash Becken hat einen tollen, explosiven Sound. Es ist auch schön laut und setzt sich gut bei Proben und Live durch. Richtig gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Auch optisch hab ich mich direkt verliebt!
Ich spiele in einer Metalcoreband und da passen die Becken der Dark Serie meiner Meinung nach, nicht nur vom Aussehen her, sondern vorallem klanglich perfekt rein.
