Tolle Hi Hats!

Habe diese Hi Hats zusammen mit den Meinl 15" Dark hats bestellt, um zu vergleichen. Ich spiele viele Musikstile, bevorzugend aber Prog/Alt/Stoner Rock und Prog Metal. Es geht aber auch über funk bis singer-songwriter stuff. Die 15" Polyphonics klingen für mein Ohr überall besser als die dark hats. Definierte kurze Sounds wenn man closed spielt und ein ultra geiler Hi hat Wash wenn leicht geöffnet gespielt wird. Sehr brillianter sound mit einem trashy unterton, für meinen Anwendungszweck wirklich toll! Die Dark hats sind wieder bei Thomann zurück, auch dies hat komplikationsfrei geklappt!

Un Hi-Hat poly-frénésique

Déjà conquis par la polyvalence de la Polyphonic ride de 21'', je me suis laissé tenté par cette paire de charleston en 15'' pour "voir" le son.
Le moins que l'on puisse dire, c'est que MEINL a toujours souci de produire des cymbales manufacturées et équilibrées avec un soin apporté tant à l'esthétique (la cloche de type "raw", le reste en traditionnel B20). Le look est impeccable (d'autant plus que j'ai hérité du modèle exposé sur le site Thomann ;) Mais le son dans tout ça?
En jeu fermé: pour du 15'', ça sonne avec une brillance équivalente à des diamètres inférieurs. Très précis, très bien articulée.
En jeu semi-ouvert: c'est là que ça surpasse ce que j'ai entendu par ailleurs. Un soutien très harmonieux, sifflant de façon équilibré, une pureté rarement entendue.
En jeu ouvert: une belle résonance et surtout le dôme de cloche non traité qui, à l'instar de la cloche de la grande soeur Polyphonic ride 21'', est uniforme, sans harmoniques envahissantes. Ici c'est vraiment très propre. Un beau bas-médium apporte une chaleur à ce hi-hat que l'on ne retrouve pas partout...
En jeu au pied: l'appui fait ressortir une ondulation magnifiquement claire et équilibrée encore une fois. Seule la fermeture sèche au pied (le "tchic") me semble moins présente en volume que sur d'autre modèle... Mais ce n'est que mon avis d'amateur.
Conclusion: qualité et esthétique irréprochable, d'une polyvalence ouverte à tous les styles musicaux, malgré un tarif relativement élevé.
Je suis conquis et je reste poli-phonique!
