Great cymbals

These are some brilliant cymbals. They sound even better inverted (in my opinion - more definition) great for recording although you might have to pull some high mids out of the mix to balance them out. Also good for a live setting, only they're not the loudest and most defined hi-hats you'll come across...

Gewohnte Meinl-Byzance-Qualität, sehr vielseitig.

Vor 2 Jahren habe ich diese HiHat als Ersatz für meine 14er trad. Medium Hats gekauft. Diese war mir einfach zu "kreischig" und in Studioproduktionen in Overheads viel zu laut.
Und diese Jazz Thin Hats sind die perfekte Ergänzung für Extra Dry Crashes, Vintage Jazz Crashes und Extra Thin Hammered Crashes. Ich steh auf washy und hier passt die HiHat perfekt.
Sie ist insgesamt sehr leise im Vergleich zu fast allen anderen Byzance HiHats, aber genau deswegen habe ich sie auch gekauft. Der FOH dankt mir regelmäßig! Wenn es doch mal etwas definierter und lauter sein soll, kann man das Bottombecken auch mal oben benutzen.

Ich bin vom Typ "one set only", d.h. ich horte keine 40 Snares und 100 Becken im Keller, sondern besitze einen großen Satz Becken, den ich immer einsetze. Ich gebe sie nie wieder her, das steht fest - wenn es doch mal eine andere HiHat sein muss, dann muss tatsächlich eine zweite ins Haus... :)

Absolutamente encantada con el charles Byzanze Jazz de catorce pulgadas de Meinl. Tiene una respuesta fabulosa, un "chick" de película, una campana bien definida, y un sonido cálido, suave y complejo. Abierto, este charles tiene un crash espectacular! Let's jazzzzzzzzzz!!!!
