Ich spiele seit 1975 Westerngitarren, habe 14 Alben aufgenommen & veröffentlicht. Ende der 70er Jahre kamen die D'Addario Phosphor Bronze in meine Stadt und seitdem klingen Westerngitarren überkandidelt, eben nach den Saiten und nicht mehr wie in den guten alten Aufnahmen Prä-1974 von Dylan, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor & Co.

Seit 10 Jahren spiele ich diese Martin Retro Monel und seither klingen meine Parlor und 14-fret wieder wie Gitarren, selbst die Resonatoren klingen mehr nach Resonator als nach überbrillianten Ewigsustain Schlümpfen!
