A brilliant product

Robert8557, 17.05.2016
As good as I had hoped...
I used to have a Mellotron M400 and it became too heavy for me and the Memotron m2k is a perfect replacement.

The sound quality is ideal and it looks great....I am very pleased with it.

Good choice

15.03.2017
Use scene and studio.

With all the banks of sounds, it starts to make a lot of choice of instruments, the flutes, organs, orchestras and the clarinet are magnificent.
By working the touched on the brass, one can arrive at something interesting.

Possibility to combine several instruments and to have access to basic parameters such as attack, velocity ...
Only flat, the sample playback stops after a while .. same for the memotron m4000D ... the principle of the original memotron is not just an infinite reading?
To check.

Effects are good, reverbs usable. Superb tremolo and stereo on Piano and Wurlitzer sounds.
On the other hand the integrated amp simulators have no utility or denature the grain too strongly.

The metal carcass is beautiful and solid, we like to play on it, very good point for this style of keyboard.
The touch piano is perfect and the knob detune manifests itself as an exciting controller.

Attention to the rather weak volume of output, a pre-amp may be necessary for some installation.
In the end the sounds go into the mixes perfectly.

In conclusion, an atypical instrument, which one chooses knowingly.
Long live the atypical!
