Great drum for the money but the drum head is very poor quality.

I was really pleased with this drum as a first drum and great value but the drum head has only lasted 3 classes and 2 street performances so be prepared to change it pretty soon. One of my friends bought on after seeing mine and hers went even faster (1 class, 1 street performance). No way was it abused and tuned straight away by my teacher who is a very experienced drummer.

Disappointing and I would expect more from Ludwig but in ways I am glad to change it, sounds much better with a Evans G1. The drum itself is great for the money.
