I was a bit scared cause I heard a fair bit of noise when if hooked them up with no strings. I think thats my own wiring cause I replaced every bit of electronic. When I'm touching the strings I have close to zero buzz and let me TELL you. WARM ROUND, YET AGRESSIVE AND SPITTING!! DEFINITELY the money's worth!! Would 100% recommend if you have a guitar already routed for pickups or have the proper tools. (I did neither cause I'm fun like that 😅)

Installed them in a squire contemporary starcaster with a monotone tone cap as well

Un excellent P90 noiseless, mais coûteux

Je cherchais plus de caractère que mes Wilkinson stacked sans récupérer de hum. Les Lollar DC-90 répondent très bien au besoin : aucun hum, un son plus riche et dynamique, de beaux médiums, plus de growl et des aigus moins criards.

Le prix reste élevé. La fixation diffère aussi d’un P90 classique et le gabarit de perçage n’est pas fourni. J’en ai fabriqué un moi-même, mais pour quelqu’un peu à l’aise avec le travail du bois, un passage chez un luthier est probablement préférable.

Au final, un excellent choix pour obtenir un caractère P90 tout en gardant une guitare silencieuse.
