Great economic, responsive reed choice for someone who does not specialise in playing much tenor and needs a reed that will work immediately and consistently, ideal for doubling situations.

Ich habe mir das Thomann Tenorsax Antique gekauft, für den Preis ein gutes Instrument. Dabei war ein Mundstück Marke namenlos, aber auch mit gutem Klang. Leider wurde kein Blatt mitgeliefert und auch keine Empfehlung, welche Stärke zu dem Mundstück passt. So habe ich verschiedene Blätter probiert: Stärke 2 1/2 und 3 waren zu leicht, haben schnell vorn zugemacht, so dass nur noch Pfeiftöne kamen.
Stärke 3 1/4 ist für dieses Mundstück ideal. Ich dachte,
Die Stärke 3 1/2 wäre noch besser, funktioniert aber leider nur in den hohen und mittleren Tönen, gar nicht in den tiefen Tönen. Da ist das Blatt äußerst schwierig anzublasen.
Vielleicht geht es mit anderem Mundstück oder anderem Spieler.
