Best mute I have ever tried!

The Khaya model, is literally the best horn mute I have ever tried so far!! Really good quality construction, with even sound in all registers, dynamics and articulation, effortless playing and warm sound, unlike any other mutes which have tons of resistance and a bit "squeaky" sound. Also, really stable intonation (I didn't even need to use the tuning needle).Works great with Kruspe horns (Ed. Kruspe, Holton) and also Geyer ones (Alex, Paxman, Yamaha etc)
Totally recommend it!

Die Intonation dieses Dänpfers ist ausgezeichnet.
Verwende ihn im Orchester und in der Brassgruppe mit großer Freude.
Hatte im Vorfeld schon einige getestet und bin mit noch keinem so zufrieden gewesen wie mit diesem.

Auch die Verarbeitung lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Einzig die Horn Crafts Gravur an der kegelförmigen Aussenfläche fehlt. Was der Qualität des Dämpfers aber natürlich nicht schadet ;)
