It's a Marine Band "classic" in the key of D natural minor
Harry Dewulf 25.12.2018
I've tried all Hohner's models and the models of many other manufacturers. For general rock, blues or folk, the Marine Band Classic is the one that suits me best. You have to try all of them to decide.
One of the main reasons I prefer this is the spacing which makes mordents easier than on other harps. I generally modify the comb to "soften" the openings, and I sometimes replace the nails with screws. But a lot of it is about what you're comfortable with.
This is a natural minor harmonica - very handy if you want to accompany folk in first position or prog rock and funk in the second position - or you just want to weird-out your band with some unexpected cadences.

K

Xavben 23.04.2020
