Nice self build kit at a decent price!
Everything is in the box to build this axe. I built a Randy Rhoads replica polka dot V and it came out great! Easy to follow instructions and a lot of fun.

2nd Harley Benton kit
Arrived in good time and well packaged, with all parts present
As per my 1st kit, decided to stain using Crimson stains. This means quite a lot of prep work to remove the pore filler coating.
Assembly straightforward, good quality wooden parts, fretboard well finished with no sharp frets and fitted snugly to body. Pots and pickups of good quality, surprisingly good sound from pickups. Strings poor so used Ernie Ball instead, tuners very poor with lots of movement, so bought vanson instead. Screws of average quality, neck screws poor, nut OK. Solderless wiring a breeze and well put together
Uncomfortable to play sitting but fine standing
All in all good for the money if you upgrade the poor quality items!

DIY Guitar
I think it’s really fun to buy a DIY guitar kit for a personal project. Unfortunately, my kit came with two small scratches, but with some sandpaper, primer, and paint, they went away. The shape is very cool.

Nice Kit!
My wife and I painted and assembled it together. It was a lot of fun, even though some instructions were missing. In the end, we got a Flying-V! The stock pickups are definitely very weak, but the quality of the body and fretboard is perfectly fine for playing. You just need to upgrade to pickups like Zakk's or something similar—then your Flying-V will really fly!
