Gretsch rules !

Used these nickel knobs for an update / modification on my Korean built 5420T Electromatic. These US made knobs are much better quality and finish than the original Korean ( these were loosing luster )

Montés sur ma Gretsch G2622T, Pas de problème ils remplace avantageusement les boutons en plastique transparent. J'ai choisi Inox plutot que chromé car je pense que ces derniers aurait fait trop bling bling.
Petit détail, le diamètre du trou des boutons est légèrement supérieur au diamètre des tiges des potards. Pour éviter que ceux ci ne tournent de façon excentré, faire un ou deux tours de scotch ou isolant sur la tige de potard pour bien centrer le bouton, puis serrer la vis.

Diese Drehknöpfe werten die Gitarre auf!

Ich habe eine Gretsch Streamliner G2420. Damit die Produktionskosten in Grenzen gehalten werden, gibt es den einen oder anderen Bauteil, der verbesserungswürdig ist. Dazu zählen die nicht schön aussehenden Kunsstoff-Drehknöpfe der Potis. Ich habe sie nun gegen diese Gretsch Nickel-Drehknöpfe getauscht und das Instrument sieht "ganz anders" aus. Es ist nun mehr "Gretschlike".
Der Wehrmutstropfen dabei ist, dass die Metallknöpfe für einen etwas größeren Achsdurchmesser dimensioniert sind. Aber da gibt es im Internet ja auch empfohlene Abhilfen für den Austausch:
1) Die Kunststoffknöpfe mit Fön erwärmen und dann abziehen.
2) Die Achsen der Potis einmal mit einem Isolier-Klebeband umwickeln und dann die Metallknöpfe aufstecken und festziehen.

Gretsch laatua! Aika kalliit, mutta tosi laadukkaan oloiset nupit, pysyy paikoillaan ja metalli painaa mukavasti. Kitara kaunistui ja itse olen tyytyväinen näihin. Suosittelen vaihta streamliner serian kitaroihin saadakseen sitä aitoa gretsch tyylistä kitaraa.
