good guitar but badly setup. made for a disappointing first play but after having to do the work myself it was much better. nut was uneven so chords where difficult. pickup is very good.

b
most excellent guitar

I wanted a resonator guitar for amplified gigs and this is doing a great job.
The Fishman Nashville pickup system has a good line level and sounds great without any EQ.
The acoustic sound is also great.
I've noticed after a week of playing the tone has improved a little and the sound is more even between the low and high strings.

When tensioning the strings you need to tighten up the spider, just put a flat head screwdriver in the hole in the bridge and turn clockwise until the buzz stoppes.

there was a little piece of binding wood in the body that I managed to shake out of the f hole.

Very happy with this guitar

Classic Sound.

Always wanted a lap steel resonator. Shopped around. This did the trick for a reasonable price. Enjoyable playing experience.

Heureuse surprise
Byrd 14.10.2014
