Das Set ist sein Geld wert

Ich musste zwar lange auf mein Set warten, da es bei Thomann leider nicht auf Lager war, bin jetzt aber super froh, dass ich es endlich habe.
Ich spiele viel in Bigbands aber auch in kleineren Combos und bin rundum zufrieden mit dem Set. Ich bediene mit dem Set viele verschiedene Musikrichtungen, was aber gar kein Problem ist, da es wirklich vielseitig einsetzbar ist
Es ist zwar wirklich sehr teuer, aber man bekommt super Qualität und vor allem einen unvergleichlichen Sound ("That Great Gretsch Sound" eben).
Ich habe es im direkten Vergleich zu dem Gretsch Brooklyn Set getestet und es war nochmal ein erheblicher Unterschied zu hören. Besonders die "Reverse Roundover" Kesselgratung macht einen großen Unterschied.

Die Kessel haben einen sehr warmen und weichen Sound. Ich spiele beide Toms mit Ambassador Coated als Schlagfell und Diplomat coated als Reso, was den Sound nochmal etwas runder macht. Diese Combo empfehle sowohl bei hoher Stimmung als auch bei tieferer Stimmung.

Ich kann dieses Set jedem empfehlen, der bereit ist mehr Geld für sein Schlagzeug auszugeben und mit der richtigen Pflege und etwas Vorsicht ist das ein Set fürs Leben.
