The welding's solid, there's not sharp edges to scratch your kit and the rubber pad and cross hatching make sure nothing moves around while playing. So strap a cowbell or woodblock on and go nuts.

It is very sturdy and easy to mount. It might however be a bit too short for smaller bass drums.

Be careful of your bass drum hoop

The bottom part of the mount does not come with a rubber padding which means that it might damage your bass drum hoop.

For its money, it is a decent mount.
