Doesn’t mute the strings totally when you put it over the nut (if you want to use the first fret) but on the first fret for example is fine. Definitely helps kill unwanted sounds while recording

Ich nutze diesen String-Damper über der Nut um das Schwingen der Hohentöne zu unterdrücken. Funktioniert dafür einwandfrei - auch für Gitarren mit 6 Saiten oder Bässe mit 4 Saiten.

Ich habe auch die Small Variante gekauft. Der ist schon recht knapp bemessen und tatsächlich nur für 6 saitige Gitarren bzw. 4 saitigen Bässen verwendbar. Etwas sinnfrei, da diese L Variante gleich mehrere Instrumentgrößen abdeckt und dabei nicht zu groß wirkt.

Die Qualität ist soweit ganz gut. Ich hoffe, dass die Nähte des Kletts lange halten. Bis jetzt machen sie einen guten Eindruck. Es hätte aber an dieser Stelle etwas besser verarbeitet sein können
