Great Guitar

I'd seen some very mixed reviews about build quality and had been worried about receiving something that was sub-par, but this guitar is really put together well.

The neck is lovely, no sharp fret ends, well polished, no buzzing, nice relief. I did have to lower the action, which was quite high, but that was no problem.

I don't use the trem, so I tightened up the screws at the claw to prevent movement.

Sounds like a Strat should sound.

What was missing from the back of the headstock was the Fender 70th Anniversary logo, but that's no big deal.

All in all, a very good, well-made guitar.

Edit : After having this guitar for a while, I can say that it stays in tune really really well. I had sourced some locking tuners to fit to it, but I don't think I'll bother now!

It's a proper Strat

It compares well to my American Standard (2000). Very similar specs. Pick guard screws are not quite as straight, string saddles and string tree are cheaper (but effective). Ever so slightly less "something" to the resonance when I back to back them. Not noticable when played separately. However when I bought the American one 25 years ago I tried every one in the shop. This guitar feels just as good and came sight unseen from Thomann. The factory setup was perfect for me YMMV.

Buena guitarra, pero....
Ha sido necesario ajustar todo, curva del mástil, altura cuerdas y quintado.
Una vez ajustada , me tiene enamorado. Me gusta el aire retro de clavijas, mucho, y envejecido de los plásticos de pastillas etc. Y suena muy bien, que es lo mejor .
