CuNiFe is back...
Matt.S 30.05.2021
...and I'm stoked. Transformed my 72 RI Thinline Tele from being a pretty okay guitar to being one of my favourite instruments I've ever played. This pickups aren't warm, but they have chime and attack for days. VERY sensitive to pickup height. Many have described it as like a fat, doubled up single coil, which I think I would agree with. Well worth using with 500k pots (or even 1Meg like the originals if you dare).

I would also note the neck pickup is a little trickier to dial in than the bridge, it may take a few weeks to really get it right to your ears. Give it time.

Big sound
Alexel 13.01.2022
In this price point it is possible to think that Fender used AuAgPt magnets in their humbuckers). But if to say seriously it is a big improvement over the mexican reissues, sound is big and clear even with 250k pots. Totally recommended!

It’s Not a Gibson Is It?
Cronk 12.05.2022
I’ve worked in the Music Industry all my life and I must have heard the comparison between the Fender Humbucker and the Gibson made hundreds of times!
No, it is not a Gibson and rightly so. The Fender Humbucker has its own sound; more transparent and effected more by subtle changes made to the guitar’s tone control. Capable of smooth Jazz and Harsh Rock but it takes a bit of patience and experimentation.
No it’s not a Gibson or a Seymour Duncan or any other make of Humbucker, it’s a Fender with it’s own unique sound!

The perfect «do it all»?
BjørnInge 07.11.2025
Tried countless pickups in my 72 custom - this was perfect.
Clear and “Fendery” hights and lots of body. With a little adjustment of the tone and volume it can do most things from tele to les Paul. Needs 1k pots - and pairing with a good bridge pickup with a bit more output.
One of my favourite pickups.
