Great instrument

This Strat is excellent. Build quality is great. Sound is excellent, really authentic. (I plug it in a Marshall SV20H). Also factory setup is very good. Guitar is Nitro lacquer, so you will have to be very careful for approx. 12 moths until paint properly dries. Color is a little bit less blue then on a pictures, but it looks great. You should change strings - because Fender strings that it comes with are meh. Case is correct for this era (1965) it looks like real one - but for functionality I will probably buy modern Fender Strat Case... As instrument - this guitar is actually amazing.

AV II 65 Strat in Sonic Blue

Grundsätzlich ist ja alles Geschmacksache. Meinen Geschmack trifft die Strat in allen Bereichen zu 100 %. Ich hab die Saiten gewechselt und dabei gleich das Gtiffbrett mit Lemon Oil behandelt, da es sehr trocken war. Die Saitenlage ist getreu den Mitte 60ern eher hoch - ich habe es derzeit so belassen und taste mich langsam an die Höhe heran. Die Singlecoils waren bis zum Anschlag versenkt - auch da taste ich mich langsam an die ideale Höhe heran. Ich spiele hauptsächlich über einen Marshall JTM 20 Head mit einer 2 x 12 Marshall Box mit Celestion Creambacks bzw. Einen Marshall DSL 20 Head mit einer 2 x 12 Marshall Box mit Celestion V-Type Speakern. Ich liebe die Positionen 2 und 4 … für mich klingt der Sound genauso wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe - bei beiden Amps. Diese Strat bleibt und zwar für immer! Ich kann sie absolut empfehlen
