Although mechanism for controlling wires in the middle looks little cheap these are decent wires. What I've immediately noticed is increase in volume and pitch. With these wires I need to tune snare lower to sound same as with other wires.

Nice tone but a little fiddly

These wires sound great and give a nice bright thwack to my Gretsch Hand-Hammered brass snare, however I do have to fiddle with the adjustment screw (dont actuallly even know what it is!) in order to stop unwanted after-buzz.

Letzendlich habe ich mich für den FAT CAT FCS 14" entschieden.

Ich habe den Teppich dann auf meine Tama Hyperdrive Snare aufgezogen. Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich toll. Macht alles einen soliden Eindruck
Ich muss sagen, der Sound der Snare ist direkt viel voller geworden. Die Teppichansprache ist ausgezeichnet, Ghostnotes ect.
In der Mitte liegen einzeln einstellbare Spiralen. Ich habe einige Zeit damit verbracht um eine Soundverbesserung zu erreichen, ich finde es hat nicht wirklich was an Zusatznutzen gebracht. Ausprobieren sollte man es auf jeden Fall.
Derjenige, der durch das Einstellen der Spiralen eine Soundverbesserung erreicht, sollte das in einer Bewertung niederschreiben.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist bei diesem Teppich auf jeden Fall sehr gut.
