I have been using studio monitors with my Quad Cortex, but got tempted to test one of these FRFR cabs to see if they could move some more air and sound more like a amp in the room, and yeah its for sure a big difference compared to your average studio monitors, this plays really loud and sounds much fuller and much more like a traditional cab, so I can only recommend it, it also looks really good and feels very premium.
