An Absolute Metal Machine
I bought this ESP LTD MH-1000ET CARS to be the new flagship of my collection, and in terms of performance, it completely delivers. Visually, the Candy Apple Red Satin finish is incredible easily the most beautiful guitar I own.
Feature-wise, this machine is crazy. The EverTune bridge provides flawless tuning stability and perfect intonation, no matter how hard you play or how much the temperature shifts. Paired with the Fishman Fluence Modern set, the sound is brutal, surgical, and incredibly articulate, while the push-pull voice switch adds massive versatility.
Here is my only critique: LTD has shifted a lot of its 1000-series production from Korea to Indonesia, and compared to my older Korean Deluxe guitars, there is a noticeable drop in cosmetic quality control. If you look closely, there are minor visual imperfections along the bindings and finish lines.
However, mechanically and ergonomically, it feels great. The neck is incredibly comfortable, and everything is perfectly smooth to the touch. Special praise must go to the fretwork it is absolutely outstanding. The frets are perfect right out of the box, and because they are stainless steel, they play like butter and are going to last forever without showing any wear. An absolute monster for extreme metal!

10/10 Guitar but ask Thomann about details :)
I was expecting 'Indonesia' since the photos on site was indicating that but back of the headstock indicates 'Korea' :D
Either way, I wasn't expecting a back QC from ESP LTD but if you have a OCD like me it has some milimetric finish faults which can be overlooked. Overall the build quality is stunning. Not even talking about the Fishman Fluence Modern and Evertune because it can depend whether you like actives or not.
PS: I wasn't really expecting the guitar itself would be this such a beauty since the colour is a bit odd looking in the photos even if you find some HD quality real life photos. You need to see this colour with your own eyes.
