The best strings

I accidentally discovered these strings through a friend of mine who works at a musicshop. He knew I played the Ernie ball 'not even slinky's' 056. I played these for many years and never thought I Would replace these with the cobalt one's.
They retain even more output, detail and lasts really months longer than the normal ones. It's crazy. I'm so happy I couldn't advise these enough for a 6-string guitar.
Highly recommended for heavier rock/stoned/djent/metal styles but can also be great for blues or jazzy licks.

Wen der Preis nicht stört

Ich hab die Saiten bereits mehrmals gekauft, weil ich gerne künstliche Flageoletts spiele (= benötigt viel Output) und meine Gitarre auf Drop C gestimmt ist (= dicke Saiten empfohlen). Tonabnehmer sind bei mir der EMG 81X und 85X. Die Saiten sind nicht ganz günstig (so wie alle Saiten aus der Kategorie). Aber ich kaufe sie gerne wieder.

Ich bin mit den Saiten sehr zufrieden und würde sie jeden empfehlen, der ähnliche Soundvorstellungen hat. Hab keinerlei Änderungswünsche, das sind meine perfekten Saiten und die passen perfekt zu meinem Setup.

Um mal darauf einzugehen, was andere hier so reinschreiben:
- Cobalt ist ein Legierungselement, keine Beschichtung. Die Saiten sind also komplett unbeschichtet (bestehen nur aus einem Material) und fühlen sich daher nicht unbedingt anders an, als gewöhnliche "nichtbeschichtete" Saiten
- Lebensdauer ist wie von Ernie Ball gewohnt, aber nicht besonders kurz. Vor Auftritten/Studioaufnahmen zieht man halt neue Saiten auf. Und mir ist noch nie ne Saite gerissen, Spielgefühl war über gesamte Lebensdauer gleich gut. Wenn nur Bandproben anstehen, lass ich die Saiten auch längere Zeit drauf und bin trotzdem rundherum zufrieden. Der Sound wird halt nach ner gewissen Zeit (>3 Wochen?) etwas "glanzlos", aber das liegt auch am Rost und an den Rückständen von eurer Hand. Kochen entfernt zumindest die Rückstände, ich zieh aber lieber gleich neue Saiten auf.

Also wer sich nicht ganz sicher ist, mit diesen Saiten kann man nichts falsch machen. Antesten würde ich sie auf jeden Fall!

Depuis que j'utilise ces cordes, je ne les lâche plus. Et pour cause elles modifient réellement le son, il est plus puissant, plus claquant. Pour jouer du rock/Metal je pense que c'est une des meilleures alternatives.
Le touché est agréable, la durée de vie est prolongée sachant que je joue de mon instrument au moins 4/5 fois par semaine dont deux répétitions de 3h avec mon groupe. A la maison je dirai minimum 1h et elles se gardent bien.
