Äußerst Druckvoll, selbst bis unter 30 Hz. Extrem stabile Ausführung der Membran. Vorbildliche Verarbeitung. Für Bassreflex-Designs fast zu schade. (Hersteller bewirbt das Chassis zum Horn-Loading) Montage vorzugsweise von Innen an die Schallwand.

Kurz was zum Setup. Bei mir steckt das Chassis in einem 180 Liter Selbstbau Bassreflex-Gehäuse mit 2x 10cm (Durchmesser) x 20cm (Länge) BR-Ports. Tuning Frequenz liegt damit bei fb = 27 Hz. Crossover steht auf 34 Hz (LR-48) und 109 Hz (24-Bessel). Raum ist ca 8 m² Dachschräge mit Betonfußboden und 3/4 Wänden Holz-Gipskarton-Leichtbau. Absenkung bei 59Hz Q=10 -14db, der Raumakustik geschuldet. Achso, im Haus darf/will sich außer mir idR niemand aufhalten, wenn die Anlage spielt ...

Fazit: Feiner Tiefbass-Sub. Man sollte sich jedoch bewusst sein, dass bei Einsatz dieses Teils der Punch-Bass von woanders herkommen muss. Denn über 100Hz passiert nicht mehr viel.

Der Lab 15 macht ein solider tiefer Bass. Für mein Geschmack nicht ganz linear. Dafür zaubert er schon in kleinen Bassreflex Kisten mit ca 110l einen tiefen Wums….bei grössen Bassreflex Kisten verwende ich lieber ein B&C 15NW100 , der hat mehr Pegel, ist günstiger und weniger Gewicht.

Also für kleine Kiste, top Bass
