Just do it!

Glitzerolli65, 26.05.2016
After playing a 25-year-old Trace Elliot, I wanted to try the lightweight design of the Class D Amps and tested the usual suspects (TC, MarkBass, Aguilar, Mesa Subway, etc.) The aguilar I felt in its basic character to center and with the one and other were the Nebengeräusche in the single-coil operation very unpleasant. I soon found in an article about Eich Amplification and ordered me the 500er.Allein already the design and Made in Germany (One knows nevertheless still not what is in it ...) made me the amp sympathetic.
At home, my PJ bass is plugged in via a 10er Eden box, all controls (up to the master) in the middle position: Boah, sounds bigger, tidier, more dense than before, just makes Bock!
In the Proberaum over 1x15 and 2x10, first without tape: Sounds good, tidy and focused, feels however somehow different than the usual 300 watt analog amp, have the feeling to have to turn the master very far in order to achieve a similarly accustomed playing feeling .Reaches the 500s or I would have rather the 900er ordered?
The band members come to the door and complain first of all about the violent volume. We play the first pieces and I experience a different world: First I turn the master back in the band context, regle a little high and high, and experience a superdynamic pleasant Bassound the me and my band colleague highly satisfied, my way of play was suddenly more dynamic. The sound is in the entire pro space, tidied up and super present! The sample was for me this much too short ... The button filter I find for the Frettless and Humbucker very practical, fast the desired sound is set. If it is at this amp a shortcoming then there is only one speaker output.
So dear people, Class D wants to be learned.Herr Eich has it on it and I probably soon too!
PS: When is there bag and rack adapter to buy?

Good sound but louder!

Michael V., 15.11.2016
The T 500 from Eich is a good sounding amplifier, which can be adjusted optimally - especially by means of the button control. Unfortunately, a very loud fan is operating approximately every 5 minutes (at each volume). This handy bass amp is unfortunately not suitable for use in a chamber music environment or for quiet practice in the living room. What a pity!
