Das EAST WEST QUANTUM LEAP RA ist ein tolles Intrument für alle, die auf der Suche nach Weltusikklängen sind. Ich war speziell auf der Suche nach orientalischen Streichern und bin hier fündig geworden. Wenn die Instrumente eine begleitende Rolle haben und etwas im Hintergrund sein dürfen, dann kann man mit den Ergebnissen super leben.

Für Solosachen oder musikalisch wirklich bedeutende Phrasen find ich es etwas schwierig. Dann muss man schon bereit sein tierisch viel Zeit in die detailverliebte Programmierung zu stecken. Dank der mitgelieferten Artikulationen kommt man dann zu brauchbaren Ergebnissen, aber irgendwann ist der Aufwand so hoch, dass man sich vielleicht doch besser einen echten Musiker sucht. (Zugegeben: bei einer String Section nicht ganz einfach :-)
