Light and Warm

Bought this some years ago to use in my home studio both with acoustic and electric guitars.

Pros: Having used a metal slide before i both prefer the feel and sound - it's very light and doesn't cause any fatigue, i feel i can do what i want faster, and the tone (at least to me) is warmer,

Cons: It's glass, so be careful not to let it fall or it will break!

Great sound for the acoustic. I use it for the resonator and banjo as well. It adapts really well for my pinky.

Too bad I keep breaking this little fellas all the time. One drop, and that's it. Better keep a metal one on your bag just in case, all the time.

Still, my nº1 to go for acoustic instruments.

Perhaps, it was due to its thinness, but this particular slide was not as well made as the other two Dunlop glass slides that I own. While the “flaws” (if I can even call them that) did not in any way impact the usability of the slide, it would still have been nice if the edges were a bit more even, without the slight dimple on one side and some warping on the other. Having paid this much for a simple glass tube, I expected a little better craftsmanship.
