The Moog MF-109S Saturator ranges from tight, dynamic overdrive and analogue saturation to gentle compression and expansion. It combines a versatile envelope follower with bipolar control of the unique drive circuit found in Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins. This input stage is a key component of every Moogerfooger and adds warmth, distortion and crunch to any sound.
Additional features: The Plug-in also emulates the Minimoog Model D’s Noise generator circuit – including control over noise level and timbre, as well as a switchable filter type. Thanks to the Envelope Follower and Noise CV outputs, as well as several CV inputs, the Saturator can interact seamlessly with all other Moogerfooger Effects plug-ins.

- Possible applications: LFO, envelope generator, melody and trigger sequencer, Euclidean sequencer, random generator, sample & hold, clock divider, CV looper, CV mixer, quantiser, logic processor, slew limiter and many more
- Patches are loaded via a text file on the microSD card
- Clear programming possible via any text editor
- Expandable with G8 Expander for 8 additional inputs and outputs for trigger/gate signals
- Expandable with X7 Expander for MIDI in/out and USB-MIDI
- Expandable with up to 16 controllers like B32, P2B8 or M4 to add buttons, rotary knobs or faders to Droid Master
