The SSL UF1, UF8 and SSL Controler are not cheap products,m so protect your investment, faders and pots with these. also get a dust magnet and give you usints a wipe over every week.

Despite its simplicity, the cover plays a significant role in protecting the audio interface from dust and gives it a beautiful appearance; therefore, this is one of the most beautiful audio interfaces I have seen (SSL 12).

Overpriced, but does what it's supposed to do

I'm not going to try to reason with anyone that a plastic tub is worth 45 bucks. It's not. But it just so happens that this plastic tub fits exactly your precious SSL 12.

Let's not kid ourselves, the value proposition here is effectively negative if you have self-respect, however it looks more professional than if you just go and place a tupperware container on top. End result would be the same, but you'll get less weird looks from your studio visitors.
