⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Reliable Tuner with Great Accuracy — Almost Perfect
I’m very happy with this D’Addario tuner for double bass and cello. It’s compact, easy to use, and the tuning response is fast and precise. The clip holds securely, the calibration is stable, and the overall build quality feels solid. For daily practice and rehearsals, it’s a very practical tool that does exactly what it promises.
The only small drawback is the screen brightness. In certain daylight conditions or at specific angles, the display can be a bit hard to read. I understand that increasing brightness would probably reduce battery life — which is likely why the design is more conservative — but it’s still an area that could be improved in a future version.
Aside from that, everything works flawlessly. The tuner is accurate, reliable, and convenient, and I’m genuinely pleased with it. A great accessory for any bassist or cellist.

Great tuner for lower frequencies
Seems to work great even when tuning lower strings.
