J'utilise ce Sol filé depuis plus d'un an avec un set de 9-46 et le son est moins criard, plus chaud.

Quelques précautions néanmoins :

- elle est moins solide qu'une corde pleine (à changer tous les mois si vous jouez souvent),

- pour un même geste, le bend monte beaucoup moins haut qu'une corde pleine (1/2 ton contre 1,5 ton environ),

- il faudra probablement ajuster l'intonation au pontet,

- vérifier que la corde coulisse bien dans le sillet de tête : si vous tournez légèrement la mécanique, la hauteur du son doit également changer ; si vous sentez que le son change seulement après avoir fait un quart de tour sur la mécanique, ça veut dire que la corde accroche dans le sillet,

- il se peut que vous ayez à revoir la hauteur du plot du micro, à savoir le rehausser car cette corde en 17 sonne moins fort qu'une 16 pleine (faites le test sur votre ampli avec un son clean, sans compression).
