I bought this single rope in addition to a complete set of strings like this, flatwound but steel. What to say? These strings are expensive but exceptional. I recommend it to those who love the creepy sound of the fretless but brilliant at the same time.
Pros: Excellent sound, long life, smooth at the right point.
Cons: Price a little high, but price / quality ratio ok.

Really loving the Chromes. I got them to put on a fretless 5 string bass that I have been tuning E to C. Great tone and feel and they work really well on the fretless. Fantastic service from Thomann as usual.
