Die Nonslider Chromatic Serie ist eine Neuentwicklung. Das Mundstück hat lippenfreundliche, parallel angeordete runde Anblasoffnungen; Die Gleiteigenschaften sind hervorragend. Man spielt auf der oberen Lochreihe und kippt die Mundharmonika, um halbe Töne zu erreichen, einfach nach unten. Das ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber sehr bald eingeübt.
Das Instrument ist m. E. eine einzigartige Ergänzung zu den herkömmlichen "Chromatischen"!
Da sie keine oder nur wenige Ventile hat, ist sie ziemlich wartungsarm. Sie eignet sich ausgesprochen gutals tägliche Begleitung in der Hosentasche etc.
Der Tonvorrat der Low F-Dur reicht von F3 - F6. Drei Oktaven in Solo-Stimmung. Ich spiele sie gerne und auch oft.
Von der Tonart C bis G ist sie nicht ventiliert; Trotzdem ist ihr Ton lautstark und klanglich angenehm
