Solid build quality and it does what MIDI controller should do
Miro S 01.08.2022
First of all, Swing has good build quality. It's sturdy. Knobs and buttons are fine. Nothing to complain here.
It's quite easy to use. My only complaint is the sequencer which is next to useless. Because we can't see which step is edited, counting the number of steps recorded into the sequencer is needed. Editing such a sequence is not intuitive and can be messy because many functionalities are not indicated in any way. Was the last step finally removed so I can stop pushing those buttons? It's a guessing game.
Besides that, everything else is good. Keybed is fine. Nothing amazing, but it feels better than a typical cheap synth keyboard.

Overall, 4/5 because of the sequencer.

Nice features, dreadful build quality.

Three keys did not work. The rest of the keyboard worked but the action is terrible. I have had to return it.

Nice replacement of my very old Novation Remote, but not so nice to use
Martijnd 06.01.2022
It seems Behringer changed the layout to a version that differs more than their previous layout( exact copy of keystep) .
Also the Berhinger's manual does contain errors, based on the keystep implementation. Apparently Behringer's former model type (with switch selector and TAP function) had exact keystep implementation. But this model is differnent, and shift functions work differently) .Prgramming a Sequence is now different and not according to the manual. I notified Berhringer support about this, but still no answer.

Overal build is great. Casing, rotators, keys feel sturdy. Lights can be dimmed. Device is powered by USB (no DC adapter supplied). No drivers needed. Behringer's controller software is Mac and Windows compatible, works very wel and has plenty off additional device configuration options avaliable.

Bold but Gold - how to divide (opinions) & conquer (the market)
zwara 04.12.2023
To address the elephant in the room: this may be one of the boldest move from Behringer to take inspiration from an already existing product currently live in production, from another brand. The results are good tho. My use case is that I wanted a small form-factor midi controller to use with my portable devices like Roland MC-101 groovebox on the go. This is a very good design, well-thought-out, easy to use, great connectivity, I really like the APREGGIO feature, the aftertouch is good, also like the CV outs that make it extra useful around modular or more orthodox analog gear.
If you are on budget (price) OR move around a lot (mobility) OR do not have a lot of desk space (environment), this is the one for you
