Serious limitations
Got this for our pub band based on the online description and we were looking forward to having a small powered mixer with a stereo option.
But what is not made clear online is that, although there is a '7-band EQ for the monitor', there essentially is very little monitor facility at all.
You have 2 speaker outs....one for left one for right. You can use your 2 speakers with the stereo function....OR you can use the left output for a mono speaker and the right one to a passive monitor. That's it.
You cannot use both speakers in stereo and have any sort of monitor....and no way to use a powered monitor at all since there is no line out anywhere. Not even a headphone input. Very bad oversight.
People considering this item should be aware of this.
We're sending it back and getting something else.

A reasonable price with great performance
For the PMP 500, I'm using in my band rehearsal studio(around 300 ft.) and using a pair of the speaker (by T.bone)
PMP 500 is a great option for the low budget or beginner band to setup their own place indeed. easy to use, clear user interface and all the I/O are quite easy to route or patch,
Pros
-LightWeight
-Reasonable price
-Easy to use
-build-in effects
Cons:
-fader and few knobs touching not very well.
All the function and patching are listing on the layout, no worries to miss or some mistake during your taking action form PMP500

generally v good
My overall thoughts are that this is an excellent value mixer amp, with a good quality feel, and sound.
My only negative point is the lack of headphone socket, and auxiallary output, for uses such as audio record. Other than this, a great product.

pmp 500
It's good value in terms of bang for your buck. The faders are intuitive and it has useful features. I think the power rating is definitely exaggerated .However it has enough for small cafe type gigs or in school \church settings. The light weight is an attractive feature. Not for serious sound reinforcement.
