Useful pedal for a nice price
This works great with boss bass and guitar. Really nice sounding overdrive. My favourite features are the semi-parametric eq, and the balance knob which blends the dry signal in with the dirty signal. Great price.

Five Star Product
This Pedal is ideal for the novice guitarist to a more experienced player who is on a budget, at £22 the price is inexpensive, and the pedals construction is a robust light weight plastic, and of durable design which is perfect for home use.
Pros
The sound is quite dynamic in its scope, from a clean crisp dry tone to a gritty overdriven output.
Tone adjustment and battery replacement are accessible from the top of the unit making the pedal easy to use and maintain.
Cons
For the price none, but if I had to call it out on one, then that would be its probably not robust enough for the professional who uses it 24/7.

BOD400 is a winner
As with all of these Behringer stomp boxes they are based on other manufacturers tried and true classics.
Using an emulator chip this one gives an honest replication of the Bass Overdrive.
The casing is clearly light plastic along with cheaper knobs than the original but it is a fraction of the price so make the call (if you'er a lead foot, this pedal is not for you)
sound wise it is useful for adding a little growl to your bass while maintaining some of the original signal so the bottom end is not lost.
The high, low knobs could be a little more useful if the crunch wasn't so triangle. It is what is supposed to be and it has found a spot in my board for a preamp pushed sound (i had to add a guitar pedal to get more contour control on the distortion).
All these pedals have the dc input on the side which I reckon is a brilliant idea for non standard pedal board saving space, but yours might have an issue with this so check it out first.

Cheap but great sound
The Behringer BOD400 is a very good and afordable distortion for bass. It has heavy distorted sound suitable for bass guitar, low and hi cut/boost and blend knob between dry and distorted sound. You can easy set your sound from a little crunchy vintage to heavy and fuzzy distoriotn. I suggest this pedal for everyone, who want to cheap but good sound quality distortion pedal for bass guitar.
