Solid and well done pot

A bit more stiff to turn in comparison to the old one I replaced it with, but I have to say this is a really well done pot, and definitely worth the price. Also I should mention that I struggled in soldering a cable to the back plate, but this may be due to my poor soldering skills.

Nice and smooth feel. Just the right amount of resistance in rotation.

Fits neatly and the lugs are the handy "eyelet" type.

The included washer and nut look and feel nicely finished.

Threads are cut/rolled cleanly.

Ahoi,

habe mir 2 Potis 25k-log (ArtNr. 189467) gekauft, um einen davon hinter meiner aktiven Klangregelung (State-Variable-Filter) in meiner LesPaul-Kopie als Volumen-Poti zu nutzen.

Subjektiver Eindruck:
Verarbeitung und Material eher hochwertig. Drehgefühl fest (im Sinn von nicht wackelig oder locker), aber nicht zu straff (im Sinn von schwergängig). Sehr schön kompakt. Klar beschriftet: "A25K" (A für Audio = logarithmisch).

Mechanische Daten:
Gewinde: Durchmesser knapp 9,5 (!) mm, Länge 9 mm.
Riffelachse: Durchmesser 6 mm, Länge 9 mm.
Topf/Deckel: Durchmesser 16,5 mm.
Drehwinkel: 300° (passt genau zur Skala des "Göldo Speed Knob", ArtNr. 174647).

Elektrische Daten:
1x 24,2 kOhm, 1x 26,2 kOhm. Das macht eine Abweichung < 5%. Sehr ordentlich für Potis.

Fazit:
Gitarren-taugliche Potis mit Riffelachse sind schwer erhältlich. Dank Thomann erhält man hier Gutes günstig. Die Potis stammen von "ALPHA" - dieser Markenname ist vielleicht bekannter. ;) Das allzu dicke Gewinde nervt - hier muss ich meinem geliebten Schätzchen wohl das edle Holz aufbohren. Die Gewindelänge passt gut zur dicken LesPaul-Decke.
