Allen & Heath ZED-428

We wanted an analogue mixer for our Theatre / Venue, after a lot of research and recommendations we went for the A&H, and delighted we did, its a great mixer, fully featured, pre-amps sound sweet, nice to have 6 auxillaries for monitoring options, the Matrix is really handy for sending mixes to other rooms (bar / entrance hall), there are also some nice features for monitoring the mix through headphones. Faders are long and solid. The EQ is accurate and even subtle moves are very musical, rarely need to apply much EQ using standard sources. We have used the 2 Track out to record shows and again very pleased with the quality of the result (correct gain staging is essential for this to work). The Meter's are great and large enough that you can dial in the gain accurately.

Overall really can't fault, its a perfect mixer
