I have been using a BOSE L1 Compact system for some time now. Since I use this as the main PA for parties, I sometimes miss a second speaker when it comes to large spaces. That's why this speaker from Thomann caught my eye. Honestly: It's pretty close to Bose, they've thought that through. But what I don't understand is that a beautiful cover for the speaker is delivered but not for the bass cabinet. You have to buy these separately ... At Bose, a cover is included for both the Speakers and the Bass cabinet, but yes, the price difference is something in between. The sound is quite okay, there are some connections and it is possible to connect two systems in stereo. It is also strange that the budget for this speaker has increased by no less than 60 euros in less than two weeks. That is about 500 euros if you also want the cover for the bass cabinet. But all things considered, it's worth investing in this system because it's very portable and easy to use.

Simply Amazing, I cannot complain and am honestly impressed as it is loud.. I would have added guitar effects as an extra addon, though the acoustic guitar sounds pretty clear on this.. I would suggest an update if another model will come out.. adding extra features.. like the Bose app feature.

Manque de puissance

Trouver une sono colonne pas trop imposante (et pas trop chère) avec reverb integré n'est pas évident, donc j'ai testé celui-ci pour mon duo folk acoustique. Mais le grand manque de puissance le rend inintéressant. Utilisable peut-être en petite salle avec peu de gens (30 maximum, s'ils s'approchent bien de la scène), mais il vaut mieux oublier une utilisation à l'extérieur.

C'est dommage, car le son n'est pas mauvais (plutôt neutre, sans brillance) et le reverb, qui fait plutôt écho genre slapback est assez plaisant.

J'ai un Bugera AC60, qui fait plus petit, mais qui est 10x plus puissant, plus clair, avec un meilleur reverb (il n'a pas de connexion bluetooth, inutile pour moi), donc je vais rester avec ça pour les petites salles.
