Simple as that!

Not a lot to say about a product that holds a good placement in the list of the "why didn't anybody has come up with this before?!" utility tools.........

It makes clever use of velcro stretch (thank you NASA!).
If your cabinet it's carpeted it just sticks to it, if it's not, you can still use it, provided you have an handle or something to make it hold on to.

I keep it in my gigbag so I don't have to carry a regular guitar/bass stand with me vs which I think it's much safer, since it holds the neck of your guitar/bass.

Bottom line: a very useful gizmo which is really a no brainer.

Great product, but...

This can save you having to take a guitar stand with you to a gig, or save you from the same guitar stand at home to save space.
Make sure your speaker is tall enough to support the bass/guitar/whatever, as many are just too low to use this product.
The point you attach it to should be higher than the body of the instrument is long. In other words, make sure the attaching point is actually on the guitars neck.

Didn't know I needed this until I used it!

I saw the Markbass Bass Keeper in the online catalog and decided to try one. I'm glad I did. I use a small stand to hold my electric bass on stage, since it fits easily into a gig bag. However, the small stand is less stable than I had hoped and I always had some uncertainty about whether the bass would remain upright when people were moving around on the stage.
I tried the Markbass Bass Keeper and it worked perfectly! It attached easily to the handle of a bass cabinet and held my electric bass guitar securely! I could relax, knowing that there would not be a loud crash and a broken headstock during the evening.
Again, I didn't know how useful the Markbass Bass Keeper would be until I used it. I won't do a gig without it!

A handy alternative to guitar stands!
Anonim 20.11.2015
We've all been there, right? Stages so cramped that we are getting to know the keyboard player just a little bit better than we really wanted to. So little space behind that you'd be better off standing on top of your amp. Stages where, frankly, a guitar stand just takes up valuable space- you know what I'm talking about, right?

The Bass Keeper is the solution! Simply attach to the side handle of your cab, combo, rack or other convenient surface and it holds your precious instrument safely and securely, with an onstage footprint that is literally no bigger than the bottom of your instrument. As a bonus, it folds small enough to stick in your pocket- try doing that with a locking guitar stand!

It's not for everyone, I'll admit. If your back line equipment only has a top carrying handle, or if the handle sits high above the nut position, it won't be much good to you. But if you want a safe way to store your guitar while on stage without taking up too much room, it comes highly recommended. Hell, it was so good, I bought a second one!
