Ebenso erstklassig wie das R-122.

Diese EA ist ebenso erstklassig wie das R-122. Nur leider für meinen Geschmack echt zu teuer. Wenn die mit 200 Euronen ins Rennen ging, wäre das bestimmt immer noch genug Gewinn für Royer. Hmm...
Außerdem wäre eine Nickel-Variante auch nicht schlecht.
Naja, was mann nicht alles macht für´s geliebte Studio.

Wenn man schon das Glueck hat, besitzer eines Royer Labs Mikrofon zu sein, so muss man auch das richtige zubehoert haben. Der RSM-1 brauche ich mit dem 121. Einfache Handhabung. Robustes Teil. Also empfehlenswert. Aber sicher nicht billig...

serious engineering for a serious microphone

Originally i was a bit shocked at the cost of the Royer shockmount. howeverm considering the quality of the microphone and the understanding of limiting low resonant frequencies...it seems to make sense.
Be assured, this is a seriously well engineered piece of equipment and holds the mic safely in place.
I recorded a choir before the SS1 arrived in the post and i did notice the amount of low interference from the basic shure mic clip i had used and secured with tape.
Thomann anyway had the powest price generally available so overall it's a big recommendation for the product and for thomann
